Thank you so much for your interest in joining The Avenues Youth Project as our next Chief Executive.   

For 45 years The Avenues has been the cornerstone of our West London community for children and young people aged 8-18. Our outstanding youth centre aims to help its members have the best chance in life whatever their background, by finding their confidence, and learning new skills in a fun way, in a safe, happy and nurturing environment. 

Latest research shows that youth workers and youth organisations provide vital safety and support for young people in Westminster, especially in more challenging areas such as ours, and our committed team is at the forefront of this. Our staff are professional, highly capable and expert in their field, and we, as a board, work closely to give them the best support possible. We are looking to our next Chief Executive to continue all that has been achieved so far, to fulfil our ambition of remaining at the forefront of delivering innovative youth work of the highest quality while improving and evolving what we offer. 

We are looking for a visionary leader who will be operationally strong, with robust governance, supporting and guiding our team and building partnerships across the communities that we work in, a new Chief Executive who will enjoy continuing to build The Avenues’ profile and reputation to protect its long-term future.
