Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the Premier League Charitable Fund.
Dear Candidate,
We’re delighted that you’re interested in joining the Board of Trustees at the Premier League Charitable Fund.
Established in 2010 to create positive sporting, health, personal and education opportunities for children, young people and the wider community, the independent charity distributes Premier League and partner funding to professional club community organisations (CCOs) across the Premier League, English Football League and National League.
Today, 106 CCOs from the National League to the Premier League are supported to address important societal issues and have life-changing impact in their local communities. The Premier League Charitable Fund distributes around £35million a year to CCOs, from the Premier League and partners, helping them to employ more than 6,200 people.
The purpose of the Board of Trustees is to provide leadership and overall strategic direction to the Premier League Charitable Fund, promoting the charity’s values and mission in line with its charitable objectives. Trustees are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct in accordance with the Nolan Principles of Public Life.
We are specifically looking to attract interest from individuals who can offer leadership on the role of digital and data for the Fund to identify the opportunities and the risks of digital and data in terms of the charity’s strategy in general, and particularly in reference to impact and communications.
Strong candidates should be able to champion the use of digital and data in board discussions, and in driving the delivery and improvement of Premier League Charitable Fund services and systems to demonstrate impact.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the biggest sport charities in the world and we hope you’ll consider bringing your talents to the team.
