About LSE Students’ Union
LSE Students’ Union (LSESU) exists to improve the life of every student studying at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE). As a company limited by guarantee and registered charity with a turnover of approximately £6 million we employ nearly 100 members of staff split across a mix of permanent employees and student staff, while delivering a range of services including academic representation, Three Tuns, societies, clubs and media groups, an advice centre, as well as supporting campaigns on campus.
The London School of Economics Students’ Union (LSESU) is seeking three experienced Lay Trustees to join our Board during a defining period of transformation. As a high-profile, student-led charity, we represent 11,000+ students at a world-class institution. With a new Chief Executive in post and a major review of our governance and commercial strategies underway, these Trustees will provide the strategic steer and professional expertise needed to ensure long-term sustainability. The Deputy Chair will play a particularly critical role, acting as a mentor to our elected student leadership and serving as a vital bridge between the Board and the Executive team to ensure stability and strategic focus.
